How much of what you sell does each customer actually buy?
Four numbers you already know. No exports, no account, nothing to install. It will not tell you which accounts — only your own data can do that — but it will tell you whether the gap is worth an afternoon of your attention.
Active accounts in your base, roughly.
Distinct offerings in your catalogue.
Be honest. Most teams guess high here.
What one product is worth on one account, per year.
A conservative 5 to 15 per cent of the £4m your base already pays you each year. Not new logos. Customers you already have, buying what they are already eligible for.
How this is worked out
Your base pays you roughly £4,000,000 a year (400 customers × 2.5 products × £4,000). If every customer bought everything, that figure would be £12,800,000, so £8,800,000 sits unsold on paper.
Nobody wins all of it, because not every customer is eligible for every product. The band above is the conservative slice that commercial teams do recover once they can see which accounts and which products. The honest answer to how much is yours needs your actual data — which account, which missing product, and the evidence that it qualifies. That is exactly what Verdacre works out.
The estimate is arithmetic. The list is the product.
Import your customers, products and who owns what, and the band above turns into named accounts with a value and the evidence behind each one.
