We publish the working, including the parts that weaken the argument. Every figure traces to a named source or to arithmetic you can check, extrapolations are labelled as extrapolations, and where a number does not exist we say so instead of estimating one.
Yes, you could run the report. Here is what it would take.
Your CRM can tell you which accounts do not own a product — that part is easy, and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. We counted what it actually takes to get from there to a ranked list of every gap in your base. For a twelve-product catalogue it is sixteen reports, and they still cannot be sorted against each other.

A UK managed service provider can tell you how many services it sells. Ask how many of them the average client actually buys and the channel goes quiet. We went looking for that figure across every primary industry report. It does not exist, and the statistic everyone quotes instead turns out to be misattributed.
